This Sunday, November 10, 2013 we will be welcoming our new members into our congregation at Christ the King!!! No matter how often we have a New Member Sunday, it continues to instill hope and excitement in each of us! Welcoming new members into our family at CTK, sharing God’s love with them each week, seeing their faith and love become stronger….it is truly AWESOME!! God is at work in our church!!!
This Sunday after worship we will also be having Sunday School for the children and a Sunday School meeting for the parents. This meeting is for all families with Sunday School aged children or also those have children who could participate in youth group (grades 6-12.) Once again, the more families that can participate in this meeting, the better. I will make sure that any news or ideas that are generated from this meeting with be shared with everyone.
This Saturday, November 9, there is a change in the Men’s Breakfast!! Instead of coming to CTK for the Men’s Breakfast this Saturday, everyone is encouraged to go to Altoona Fire Station for the Altoona Firefighter Pancake Breakfast. (I believe the group will meet there at the usual time of 8 a.m. but please contact the church if you have questions.)
