The Core Values of Christ the King Lutheran Church:

The Bible is the Word of God:

We believe that the Bible is completely and entirely the very Word of God and serves as the foundation and guide for everything that we do as a congregation. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Prayer:

We believe that prayer is central to all aspects of worship, ministry, and activities of this church and all its members. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Growth in Faith:

We believe that faith is something that is dynamic and needs to grow over time through the Holy Spirit’s power in Word and Sacrament. (Eph. 4:11-13)

Love/Caring:

We believe that because God loves us, we are empowered to love and care for one another. (1 John 3:16-18)

Fellowship and Family:

We desire to establish a fellowship among our members that develops Christ-centered relationships that foster family-like bonds. (1 Corinthians 12:12-26)

Children:

We believe that all children are precious to God and they should be taught God’s Word from an early age so that they might know God and follow Him for the rest of their lives. (Matthew 19:14)

Community Service:

We believe loving relationships should be developed with local community members through service activities undertaken with community groups. Through this process we can serve God and gain opportunities to share the Gospel by caring for others. (Luke 10:30-37)

Salvation of All People:

We believe that the lost matter to God and that we need to share the message of Grace through faith in Jesus Christ to those who do not demonstrate belief in salvation. (Luke 5:30-32)
